The AI 50: Honoring Public Sector AI Innovators

Syncurrent Named to Inaugural AI 50 List for Advancing Funding for Governments with AI-Driven Solution

Marquette, Mich., August 4, 2025 – Syncurrent, a government technology company, today announced it was named on e.Republic’s Center for Public Sector AI (CPSAI) inaugural AI 50 list, honoring organizations and individuals using artificial intelligence to transform the public sector. Syncurrent joins a cohort of innovators re-imagining government operations, from state CIOs to local government agencies and public-sector-focused startups.

Syncurrent was selected from a national pool of applicants, with approximately 30 of the company's customers and partners individually nominating them for recognition based on their tangible impact and real-world results.

"We're honored to be selected alongside other innovators who contribute to the public sector and the everyday heroes that make government work," said Dhruv C. Patel, Syncurrent CEO and Co-Founder. "This win only tightens the vision for Syncurrent - we're going to keep reducing the time it takes local and tribal governments to identify funding from months down to minutes."

Syncurrent’s AI infrastructure combines multiple federal and state databases into one environment, offers local and tribal governments a space for collaboration, and matches them to relevant, eligible funding in a matter of minutes.

This recognition comes on the heels of Syncurrent’s recently announced partnership with the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and the Michigan Municipal League to integrate Syncurrent’s AI infrastructure into the "MI Funding Hub," a centralized AI-powered state grant system. Additionally, through a partnership with the Department of the Interior, version 2 of the Syncurrent platform is available for free to all 574 Federally Recognized Tribal Nations for the next 10 years.

The AI 50 Awards recognize leaders and organizations who are putting AI to work in ways that deliver measurable public value. The full list of AI 50 winners can be found here.
